Hiking from Rifugio Locatelli to Rifugio Fonda Savio
Our adventure began bright and early at 0800. The air was crisp, and the anticipation of the day ahead filled our spirits. The trail from Rifugio Locatelli to Rifugio Fonda Savio promised stunning views and a rewarding experience.
Morning Journey
As we set off, the path led us through breathtaking landscapes dotted with wildflowers and towering peaks. The tranquility of the mountains enveloped us, making every step a joy. We made a planned stop for lunch at Rifugio Col De Varda from 10:20 to 11:30, where we refueled and recharged for the trek ahead.

Must-See: Cadini di Misurina
We took a quick glimpse of the Cadini di Misurina panoramic point, also known as the Flying Banana viewpoint. The views were absolutely stunning, offering a unique perspective of the surrounding mountains. Unfortunately, we didn’t manage to capture any footage due to the long line of hikers waiting to take their photos. We were pressed for time, eager to reach our next rifugio.

Continuing the Adventure
After our relaxing break, we continued our hike, invigorated and ready to tackle the next segment of our journey. The trail was well-marked, and the scenery continued to impress with every turn. We encountered fellow hikers, shared stories, and exchanged tips about the best routes and sights along the way.
Make sure to have via ferrata equipment handy for certain sections.

Conclusion
Reaching Rifugio Fonda Savio was a satisfying conclusion to our day’s hike. The challenges of the trail were worth the effort, and the camaraderie among fellow hikers made the experience even more memorable. We settled in for the evening, ready to share tales of our journey and plan for the adventures that lay ahead.
